Kruger National Park: Crocodile Bridge Entrance Gate now open for tourists

The Crocodile Bridge Entrance Gate in the Kruger National Park (KNP) is now open for tourists.

There is still a bit of water running on top of the low water bridge (old one) over the Crocodile River; but only small vehicles up to minibuses and open safari vehicles can now pass through. Motorists must exercise caution by driving slowly across this low water bridge. [src.: sanparks.org]

  4. The entrance gate is still closed. Only vehicles with high ground clearance i.e. 4x2, 4x4 etc will be allowed to enter or exit through Crocodile Bridge Gate until further notice.

Guests with small vehicles are advised to use alternative gates such as Malelane Gate.

  6. The Crocodile Bridge Entrance Gate at the Kruger National Park (KNP) is currently open for vehicles with higher ground clearance such as 4X4s, 4X2s and SUVs.

The water flow over the mid-section of the low water bridge is relatively high.
