SA Express has six more destinations in Southern Africa on the cards for 2012

South African airline SA Express, a domestic and regional passenger carrier in Southern Africa, recently announced that it is planning seven new routes from Durban for 2012, all within less than 3 hours flying time from the coastal city.
The airline, which launched a four weekly service between Durban and Lusaka on 12 July 2012, is looking into operating flights to Harare in Zimbabwe, Vilanculos and Maputo in Mozambique, Gaborone in Botswana and Lubumbashi in the DR Congo.
According to Inati Ntshanga, CEO of SA Express, a new route from Durban to Mauritius is also on the card of the airline, albeit not in 2012.
Although SA Express is operationally independent of the country's flag carrier South African Airways, its flights are incorporated within the strategic alliance with privately owned SA Airlink and South African Airways.
