South Africa: Low-cost airline 1time ditches Livingstone (Zambia) in favour of Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe)

South Africa's budget airline 1time and Nu-Aero (Pvt) Ltd have formed a joint venture to operate Fresh Air, Zimbabwe’s first low-cost airline. The new airline will use two McDonnell Douglas MD 87s, configured with 132 and 157 seats, that are provided by 1time
Fresh Air will initially start with flights between Johannesburg and Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe) in September 2012. A second route in Zimbabwe is also in the planning. In favour of the new Johannesburg <> Victoria Falls (via Harare) service, 1time will cease its operations on the Johannesburg <> Livingstone route.
