Video: How African rock pythons hunt & eat Springbok

The African rock python is one of the largest snakes in the world and Africa's largest snake. Specimen can get as long as 6 m (20 ft). Subspecies of the snake can be found throughout the whole of sub-Saharan Africa, from Ethiopia and Somalia west to Senegal and south to Namibia and South Africa. The nonvenomous snake is usually found nears sources of water in a variety of habitats, including savanna woodland and grassland, forest, savanna, semi-desert, rocky areas.
