The national carrier of Rwanda, Rwandair, will resume flights between Kigali's Kigali International Airport (KGL) and Mwanza Airport (MWZ) in Mwanza in Tanzania on 01 November 2014. The airline will operate three flights a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between the two destinations. Mwanza, located on the southern shores of Lake Victoria in northwestern Tanzania, will be Rwandair's third destination in the country, in addition to Dar es Salaam and Kilimanjaro.
